Opportunity - it's everywhere

It just comes once in a while. Sometimes it presents itself, sometimes you have to look for it.

Just like this month. August 2010 has 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays and 5 Tuesdays. This month's arrangement was said to just happen every 823 months. I'm not so sure since I don't have that much free time to count the number of days in a month. Let's just leave it to the pros.

Opportunity is defined as:

a possibility due to a favorable combination of circumstances;

So it depends on what favors a person. This means that opportunities are all around us. For example, a beggar who found a penny down the alley sees this an opportunity, but for a busy business man who heads a mulit-million company, it's a burden. He would complicatedly explain, that the time he spends picking up the penny would cost him more than what amount the penny can give him, and it might be infected as well, so he'd rather not pick it up.

With the above example, we can see that the opportunity is there. It's only depends how we perceive and react to it. It's not that opportunities are limited, it's all around us. It's just needs a little bit of appreciation and careful thinking to realize that blessings are all around us.

All we need to do is to change our attitude in life and opportunities will open up a little sooner than you think.
