I myself have been wondering for a week now how I could get one of those floating all-in-one badges. Then one day, while surfing links, I found a site which has a similar floating all-in-one badge in his site(all the thanks to TSKSOFT). I asked how he got it, and thankfully, he provided me and it was all so easy.
"So, why should I bother install this anyways?", you might ask. So, here's one good reason why: it reduces your site's bounce rate. Now,
you'd ask what on earth are bounce rates? No, they're not the number of times a certain object bounces. Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate) is a term used in web site traffic analysis. It essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who "bounce" away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site.
In short, it's a better way to keep your readers on your site.
I've been searching all over the net but I can't seem to find the right keywords(maybe that's just me). I was really frustrated back then. But, here I am proud of my Wibiya badge. I want to spare you guys from searching all over the net for it. So, here are steps how to get one:
1. Go to wibiya.com by clicking here.
2. On the loaded page click on the 'Get it Now' button.
3. You will be asked to create a FREE account. Fill up the fields needed and click on the 'Next' button.
4. Wibiya has a large variety of themes to choose from then. After choosing, click on the 'Next button.
Note: You can also see a preview of the badge at the bottom part of the page:
5. You will be taken next to where you can select the applications that you would like to include in your Wibiya badge. Personally, I would suggest you atleast add the Facebook, Twitter and Smart Share apps since most of the internet users have accounts on these social networking sites. Well, it's up to you. Then click on 'Next'.
6. A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter various information depending on the applications you've chosen in the previous step. Then click on the 'Done' button.
7. Choose on which CMS or blogging platform you'd like to insert the widget. In this case, let's use Blogger. Of course, this will depend on your CMS.
Note: Before proceeding, please login to your respective CMS accounts.
8. Select a blog where you want to put it, then click on 'Add Widget'.
9. You will then be brought to the Page Elements page of your blogger site. It will appear as a Gadget. To make sure it's working, click on 'Preview'.
10. And voila! You have your own toolbar/widget/gadget or whatever you would like to call it. Hope that helps!
